Now thank we all our God...

Now thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices”
 …and with fireflies. 

Jesus told John,” I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness” …John 12:46.  As I sat in quiet desperation of disbelief and deep heartache after experiencing a recent tragedy, a vision of fireflies hovering around me came to my weary mind…an epiphany!!  As I recounted the untold acts of love and comfort shown to me during this time, I understood that this soothing vision of fireflies quietly surrounding me with their soft, blinking, lovely, little lights was the light of Christ, leading me out of the dark. Thank you.

As we gather around our tables that are abounding with favorite foods and with treasured family and friends, may your homes and hearts spillover with hearty laughter, warm embraces, sweet kisses, and immeasurable thanks for all things great and small. 

...And for fireflies who bring you the light of Christ in the most comforting ways, leading you out of the darkness.

Prayers that your Thanksgiving will be harmonious, full of light, every day.
Keep your little lights blinking…how they are needed.  Now thank we all our God.
